Sunday Closing - No Chef !

Closed Sunday Evening 27th April

Sorry everyone but due to a sick chef (and I do mean unwell!) we are unable to open this evening for our evening menu.

I have tried to find someone else at short notice, but surprisingly I cant find anyone who wants to work on a sunday night !

I can only apologise and hope you will come back another night as our door is usually always open !

Here it is for this week, we are finally getting back into the swing of things after a gap of a few weeks where technology has definately been challenging me !

Starters

Minestrone Soup, Prawns Aioli or Spaghetti with chilli & garlic

Main Courses

Roast Beef with roast potatoes, yorkshire pud, vegetables & horseradish or Chicken breast in a cream and mushroom sauce with saute potatoes and veg or Vegetarian Pancake Duo with spinach & ricotta and ratatouille. 

Desserts

Profiteroles with chocolate sauce or warm Chocolate Fudge Cake with cream or ice cream or Lemon & Lime Cheesecake

Here is this weeks sunday menu, apologies for the lack of email last week, but gremlins in my laptop prevented me from contacting you!

Starters:

Piri Piri Gambas, Aromatic Parsnip Soup or Liver Pate with crusty bread and chutney.

Main courses:

Roast Beef with Yorkshire Puddings, stuffing and all the veg etc, Chicken Breast in a lemon sauce wtith potatoes and vegetables or Penne with pea and basil pesto.

Desserts:

Profiteroles with chocolate sauce, Creme Brulee or Chocolate Fudge Cake.

Starters: Butternut Squash & Parmesan Soup, Smoked Salmon with dill creme fraiche sauce or Medley of Saute Mushrooms with rosemary, chilli, rocket & sour cream on a toasted ciabatta. 

Main Courses: Roast Pork with Sunday Roast Trimmings & apple sauce, Breast of Chicken with a mushroom veloute, dauphinoise potatoes and vegetables.

Desserts: Creme Brulee, Warm Chocolate Fudge cake with cream or ice cream or Strawberry Pavlova.

New Sunday Evening Menu

Well its official, Sunday night opening is up and running and already proving to  be successful.

This Sunday will be our second opening, hours on a sunday are now 10am-10pm, with Breakfast 10-1230, Lunch 1230-4pm and Dinner 530-10.00pm.

Our menu for sunday evenings changes each week and we will not only put it on the website, but also email anyone registered with us and you can also see it in our window.....

Menu Sunday 20th January - Evenings

Starter Options:-Winter Vegetable Soup with mixed cheese toastie, Panfried Langoustine in wine & garlic, Vincents Parma Ham & Avocado Salad.

Main Courses: Honey Roasted Ham with redcurrent & marsala jus served with medley of roast potatoes & vegetables, Lincolnshire Sausages with mash and Caramalised onion gravy, Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli with a tomato sauce.

Winter has arrived !

Is it me or has it just suddenly turned cold?! Winter seems to have crept up on us this year and suddenly everyone is wrapped up in warm woolly scarfs and big coats plus the shops are all of a sudden full of Christmas gift selection packs and Merry Christmas messages.... what happened to the Summer, I think I missed it !

Well as you know there is always a warm welcome in Rehab, we have our log fire burning brightly and for those really chilly days, why not come in for a warm hot chocolate or even better, one with a drop of brandy in (for medicinal purposes of course!)

We are very close to launching our exciting new daily menu, which should now be avaialable no later than the end of the month so keep your eyes open for that and also for those of you who havent heard, we are offering a limited number of spaces on our December Sunday Dining on 9th and 16th December.

This will be a cosy afternoon of great food, good wine and even better company, with choices from a 3 course menu, unlimited wine, tea, coffee, cheese and port, all for an inclusive all in price of £47.50 per person. (childrens menu also available at £19.99)

fantastic new chef

Tomas, our fantastic pizza chef brings with him a wealth of experience to our established kitchen. He has been trained in Naples and has worked in the UK for a few years, including a time in Scotland. His pizzas and Calzones are something to behold, come in and try them out!

Our private dining or function room can also offer you a selective evening at Rehab and we would be happy to discuss your requirements to make the event personal to you. Rehab Sunday Sanctuary!

Need somewhere to chill out on a Sunday? then look out for the Rehab Sunday Sanctuary, due to open its doors mid April 2007.

Take a relaxing Sunday morning, a mouth-watering choice of breakfast and lunch menus, which will include Eggs Benedict, Smoothies, Fresh fruit Platter, Sausage & Bacon Sandwiches, Coffees & Teas, Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice PLUS many of our regular pizzas and pasta choices and Sunday Specials .... then ADD the Sunday papers and chilled music and you have the Sunday Sanctuary!  Is there anywhere else to be at the weekend?

about rehab

Rehab was established in the summer of 2001 and since then has been a firm favourite with not only the locals of Colliers Wood but also of the people in the surrounding area.

With its handy position right opposite Colliers Wood tube (northern line) and bang next to a mini cab (for when the mood overtakes you and you couldn’t possibly drive or walk home!) it is the perfect place to spend any evening.

Our pizza bases are freshly home made on the premises by one of the best pizza chefs in London. There is no oil in the base and we cook the pizza directly on the hot stone – NOT in a cold buttered and oily dish like so many other places. Our toppings are not only generous but also completely authentic and are imported directly from all over Italy. We are also renowned for doing one of the biggest salads in town, piled high with fantastic freshly prepared combinations for your delectability!

The Specials Board changes every week and often daily although sometimes is so popular that we keep many of the same things on for a tad longer just so that everyone is kept happy! This weeks special is a chicken breast with ham, cheese and asparagus with saute new potatoes or a tiger prawn Rissotto. The Specials, however are only a suggestion and you can order whatever you like as it is ALL freshly made.

Our wine list is picked because we like them, not because some poor rep has paid us to put his wine on our list. We aim to offer a selection to suit all tastes and budgets, including an excellent Sicilain Red and White House Wine and a superb Chianti. Our cocktails (although not award winning – very generous and extremely comforting!) are HALF PRICE on Thursdays.
